Al Dodd (Alvin Roy Dodd) was born on August 21, 1945 in Harvey, Louisiana. After going to high school at West Jefferson (Marrero, LA), Dodd attended Northwestern State University. Dodd made his professional debut in the NFL in 1967 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons and Chicago Bears over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1970 was Al Dodd's best year.
