Al Dekdebrun (Allen Edward Dekdebrun) was born on May 11, 1921 in Buffalo, New York. After going to high school at Burgard Vocational (Buffalo, NY) and Wyoming Seminary (Kingston, PA), Dekdebrun attended Columbia University and Cornell University. Dekdebrun made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1946 with the Buffalo Bisons. He played for the New York Yankees, Chicago Rockets and Buffalo Bisons over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1946 was Al Dekdebrun's best year, as he picked off 3 passes.
