Al DeMao (Albert Marcellus DeMao) was born on February 29, 1920 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Arnold (PA), DeMao attended Duquesne University. DeMao made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1947 was Al DeMao's best year.
