Al Day (Albert Edward Day) was born on March 18, 1938. After going to high school at Pershing (Detroit, MI), Day attended Eastern Michigan University. Day made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos for his entire 1 year career.
