Al Crook (Alfred John Crook) was born on November 20, 1897 in Detroit, Michigan. After going to high school at Central (Detroit, MI), Crook attended Washington & Jefferson College. Crook made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Detroit Panthers. He played for the Detroit Panthers for his entire 2 year career.
