Born on June 15, 1943 in Creighton, Nebraska, Al Closter (Alan Edward Closter) played for the Washington Senators, New York Yankees and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 4 year career. Closter broke into the bigs on April 19, 1966 with the Washington Senators.
