Al Cicotte

Born on December 23, 1929 in Melvindale, Michigan, Al Cicotte (Alva Warren Cicotte) played for the New York Yankees, Washington Senators, Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Cardinals and Houston Colt .45s over the course of his 5 year career. Cicotte broke into the bigs on April 22, 1957 with the New York Yankees, and put up a 3.03 ERA in 65.1 innings pitched in 1957, his rookie year.
