Al Chamblee (Aldric Doran Chamblee) was born on November 17, 1968 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. After going to high school at Green Run (Virginia Beach, VA), Chamblee attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Chamblee made his professional debut in the NFL in 1991 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1992 was Al Chamblee's best year.
