Al Bedner (Albert Leon Bedner) was born on July 9, 1898 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Wilkes-Barre (PA), Bedner attended Lafayette College. Bedner made his professional debut in the NFL in 1924 with the Frankford Yellow Jackets. He played for the New York Giants and Frankford Yellow Jackets over the course of his 3 year career.
