Al Beauchamp (Alfred Beauchamp) was born on June 25, 1944 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After going to high school at Baton Rouge (LA), Beauchamp attended Southern University. Beauchamp made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the Cincinnati Bengals. He played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Cincinnati Bengals the entire time. Beauchamp also played in the NFL for 7 years, playing for the Cincinnati Bengals and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 7 year NFL career.

Most people believe that 1971 was Al Beauchamp's best year, as he picked off 6 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
