Al Baisi (Albert Frank Baisi) was born on September 6, 1917 in Norton, West Virginia. After going to high school at Elkins (WV), Baisi attended West Virginia University. Baisi made his professional debut in the NFL in 1940 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 4 year career.
