Al Babartsky

Al Babartsky (Albert John Babartsky) was born on April 19, 1915 in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Shenandoah Valley (Shenandoah, PA), Babartsky attended Fordham University. Babartsky made his professional debut in the NFL in 1938 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cardinals over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1939 was Al Babartsky's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
