Al Arndt (Alfred Herman Arndt) was born on July 15, 1911 in Comfrey, Minnesota. After going to high school at New Ul (MN), Arndt attended South Dakota State University. Arndt made his professional debut in the NFL in 1935 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 1 year career.
