Al Akins

Al Akins (Albert George Akins) was born on June 13, 1921 in Spokane, Washington. After going to high school at John Rogers (Spokane, WA), Akins attended the University of Washington and Washington State Universtiy. Akins made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1946 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1947 was Al Akins's best year.
