Akili Smith (Kabisa Akili Maradufu Smith) was born on August 21, 1975 in San Diego, California. After going to high school at Lincoln (San Diego, CA), Smith attended Grossmont College and the University of Oregon. Smith made his professional debut in the NFL in 1999 with the Cincinnati Bengals. He played for the Cincinnati Bengals for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that 2000 was Akili Smith's best year.
