Ahmad Rashad (born Bobby Moore) was born on November 19, 1949 in Portland, Oregon. After going to high school at Mount Tahoma (Tacoma, WA), Rashad attended the University of Oregon. Rashad made his professional debut in the NFL in 1972 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Minnesota Vikings, St. Louis Cardinals and Buffalo Bills over the course of his 10 year career.
Most people believe that 1979 was Ahmad Rashad's best year, as he hauled in 80 receptions, had 1156 receiving yards and caught 9 TD passes.
