Born on June 11, 1977 in Phoenix, Arizona, Adam Pettyjohn (Adam Christopher Pettyjohn) played for the Detroit Tigers for his entire 1 year career. Pettyjohn broke into the bigs on July 16, 2001 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 5.82 ERA in 65 innings pitched in 2001, his rookie year.
