Adam Nicolson
[edit] BiographyAcquired: Lions' 1st selection, eighth overall in the 2007 CFL Draft. College: Appeared in 19 games at the University of Ottawa (’04-’06) hauling in 88 career catches for 1572 yards and 12 touchdowns. Adam was named a Second-Team OUA All-Star last season in spite of missing the last regular season game due to injury. He was Ottawa’s leading receiver in the playoffs averaging 69 receiving yards per game and also recorded a playoff-high, six catches for 109 yards and a TD versus Saskatchewan in the Mitchell Bowl. Adams best season at Ottawa was 2005 as he pulled in 44 receptions for 762 yards and eight TD’s. Personal: Adam was a Biology major while attending Ottawa and has a few credits remaining to complete his degree. The first-year Lion trains year-round by playing ultimate frisbee, basketball, hockey, and squash in his hometown of North Bay, Ontario.
