Born on July 18, 1887 in La Harpe, Kansas, Ad Brennan (Addison Foster Brennan) played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Whales, Washington Senators and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 7 year career. Brennan broke into the bigs on May 19, 1910 with the Philadelphia Phillies, and put up a 2.33 ERA in 73.1 innings pitched in 1910, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Ad Brennan's best season was 1913, when he posted a 2.39 ERA, won 14 games and struck out 94 batters.
