Abraham Nunez (Abraham Orlando (Adames) Nunez) was born on March 16, 1976 in Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on August 27, 1997 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1999, his rookie year, he hit .220 with 0 home runs and 17 RBI. Nunez played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that Abraham Nunez's best season was 2005, when he hit for a .285 average.
