Abe Gibron (Abraham Gibron) was born on September 22, 1925 in Michigan City, Indiana. After going to high school at Elston, Gibron attended Purdue University and Valparaiso University. Gibron made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1949 with the Buffalo Bills. He played in the AAFC for 1 year, playing for the Buffalo Bills the entire time. Gibron also played in the NFL for 10 years, playing for the Cleveland Browns, Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 10 year NFL career.
Most people believe that 1950 was Abe Gibron's best year.
