Abe Addams (Abraham Buchanan Addams) was born on July 12, 1926 in Louisville, Kentucky. After going to high school at Louisville (KY), Addams attended Indiana University. Addams made his professional debut in the NFL in 1949 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
