Ab Wright (Albert Owen Wright) was born on November 16, 1905 in Terlton, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Stillwater (OK), Wright attended Oklahoma State University. Wright made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Frankford Yellow Jackets. He played for the Frankford Yellow Jackets for his entire 1 year career.
