Aaron Ward (Aaron Lee Ward) was born on August 28, 1896 in Bonneville, Arkansas. He made his Major League debut on August 14, 1917 for the New York Yankees. In 1920, his rookie year, he hit .256 with 11 home runs and 54 RBI. Ward played for the New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that Aaron Ward's best season was 1923, when he hit for a .284 average and knocked in 82 runs.
