Born on November 23, 1971 in Oxnard, California, Aaron Small (Aaron James Small) played for the Toronto Blue Jays, Florida Marlins, Oakland Athletics, Arizona Diamondbacks, Atlanta Braves and New York Yankees over the course of his 9 year career. Small broke into the bigs on June 11, 1994 with the Toronto Blue Jays, and put up a 4.28 ERA in 96.2 innings pitched in 1997, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Aaron Small's best season was 1997, when he posted a 4.28 ERA and struck out 57 batters.
