Aaron Ramsey
[edit] Biography
Ramsey started as an 8 year old in the Cardiff City youth squad. He eventually worked his way through the club to the senior level. He made his first professional debut as a substitute April 28, 2007. His debut made Ramsey the youngest player to ever play for Cardiff City, aged just 16 years and 124 days, beating the previous record holder John Toshack.
His first professional start was on January 5, 2008 in the FA Cup against non-league side Chasetown.
Ramsey has also played for Wales at the U17 and U21 levels. In May 2008 he was called up to the senior Wales squad in friendlies against Netherlands and Iceland but he remained on the substitutes bench in both cases.
