[edit] BiographyAcquired: Signed as a free agent by BC in May 2006. 2006: Joining the Lions during training camp, Hunt would go on to enjoy a spectacular regular season ending with not only a Grey Cup victory but also a CFL Most Outstanding Rookie selection. A dominating force along the defensive line, Hunt racked up 14 defensive tackles (four for a loss) as well as nine sacks, a forced fumble an two pass knockdowns. Hunt would miss his final regular season start with an injured calf but returned for the West Championship (one DT) and Grey Cup ( one DT, one sack, one FF). 2005: Re-signed by Denver (NFL) in March 2005 and spent a season in NFL Europe with Hamburg. Was named All-NFL Europe with his three sacks and 23 tackles. Waived by Denver after 2005 training camp. 2004: Spent training camp with Miami but was waived on August 27. 2003: Selected in the sixth round (194th overall) of the 2003 NFL Draft by Denver but was released September 4. Spent the final three weeks on Arizona’s practice squad. College: Had an outstanding college career at Texas Tech and was a regular for all four years. Named as a 3rd team All-American in 2001 and was a Big-12 All-Star in each of his last three seasons. Personal: Aaron’s brother Reggie is an All-Star linebacker with the Saskatchewan. Interestingly, his mother’s name is Regina.
