I have been swamped at work lately and haven't been able to post recently. Yesterday a new crop of Free Agents hit the market as teams non-tendered players. Here is a full list:

Marcus Giles would be a huge addition to the Mets. He had a dissapointing year at the plate, but he should turn that around. His defense will always be spectacular.

Duckworth had such promise in 2001. Now, he's got nothing. Of course, nothing can apparently net you a $10 million salary in this year's inflated market.

I think the same applies to Claussen. I included Duckworth, Claussen and Zambrano on the list because when you have questions with SP, you might take a flier on a guy who was thought to have much potential. The same could be said about Piniero. The added bonus about Piniero is that he could fit in the bullpen very well.
