So the time has come again for Michelle Wie to attempt to qualify for a PGA tour event again. First Danica Patrick & now her all in less than three days…What have we done to deserve all this? Why are we (no pun intended) force fed this silliness every f&^%$#* time. I mean is it really earth shattering news anymore…How many times will this be for her, I’ve lost count. So she has talent…Guess what, I can shoot a 58 on Tiger Woods ’06 for Xbox 360 at TPC Sawgrass. See I have talent to, but unlike her I do have common sense and know it’s a video game. The chances of me duplicating this in real life is slim & none…more along the lines of none.
Maybe Wie looks at her life as a video game, well this just in….She’s not very good on her level yet. So what does she get out of trying to qualify for a PGA Tour event…I mean it’s not like it hasn’t been done before. To make the cut? Hey sweetie, been there, done that…Annika did it a few years back. She’s only the greatest female golfer on the face of the earth, and where did she finish? Oh yeah, placing somewhere in 90 place range….The Greatest Female Golfer Alive only managed to beat a handful of men golfers, (although it hasn’t been proven yet whether or not they were just impersonating PGA golf pros). Somebody that you went toe-to-toe with a few weeks back at the US Open (or at least tried to) before mercifully falling on your face for all to see. I’m sick of hearing about how young this bitch is…Why should I give a shit? All it is, is a constant lame ass excuse for every time she falters. Just like in the case with Danica why do we give these two so much damn attention…For they’ve done absolutely nothing to warrant it. If she was so good anyway shouldn’t she be dominating the LPGA Tour…Oh but that’s right, I must remember she’s only 16. How silly of me to forget that.
Silly, that’s the perfect word to define her career to date. Every time I hear her name it’s like somebody raking his or her fingers down a blackboard. I suppose the next thing that we’ll see is Sue Bird coming to run the point along side D-Wade in Miami. Maybe Jeannie Fitch will take the mound next year for the National League All-Stars in a closer role…Shit, can’t do any worse than the performance Trevor Hoffman put on last night in “The Burgh”. Just when is this absurdity going to stop? The PGA Tour isn’t helping matters by any means…For they encourage it. Well, if they are all for these kinds of side shows, why not just merge the two tours then? Why is it anyway that she’s allowed to try to compete with men, but us men aren’t allowed to compete on the LPGA Tour? Isn’t this the same thing? Does this seem like some sort of double standard and a little discrimination? At least it’s some good entertainment…Who knew golf could be some humorous? Although one thing that Michelle’s talents have shown us is that William Perry has more talents at a table in a competitive eating contest…To think that was a big joke. Why besides managing only to stuff his face with six or so hot dogs, he has also been a prized boxer, a wrestling technician, a Super Bowl Shuffler, & a Super Bowl Champion. What have you accomplished Michelle?
