A Slow Start for Mavs, Conference Finals Teams

A new low for Mavs Fans last night as they lost to the Clippers, dropping their record to 0-4, their worst start in franchise history.....

Yet, there is a trend here: Look at the record of the teams that played during the 2006 Eastern and Western Conference Finals........

West:

Dallas: 0-4

Phoenix: 1-4, lost three straight

-Both of these teams face each other tonight. If you thought these teams were desperate during the playoffs, tonight will be a key game as neither team wants to add a fifth loss to their record tonight.....

Maybe the Mavs are still tired from the parade this past June

East:

Miami: 2-2

Detroit: 2-3, Lost 2 Straight

-It's clear to me that the teams that played in June are struggling......

Unlike the idiots of the world, I believe it's not about the season's first games, but the last games that matter most.

Also, the Suns have now started 1-3 each of the past 5 seasons, but last night was the first time they LOST game #5. Also note, each of the 4 previous season that they started 1-3 and WON game #5, they didn't win the Championship. So that's the key, lose game #5, win the championship!!!
