Every good parent(s) plays an active role in their child development. They want what’s best for their kid in all aspects of growing up. Whether it’s school, friends, interests, playing sports, etc., parent(s) job is to show their undying support and to encourage little Johnny or little Suzy by whatever means necessary. Throughout this maturation process the young child begins to stand on his/her own two feet not relying on mom & dad to help fight their battles for them. Well, that is of course unless you’re a momma’s boy? Which the state of Arkansas seems to have imported a few of these.
This past week The University of Arkansas, who ended up finishing No. 12, found itself discussing the team's offense tendencies and going over personal in a meeting between athletic director Frank Broyles and the parents of several freshmen, who were, get this, “concerned about the Razorbacks' offense and the coach Houston Nutt's prerogative to shape the team's strategy.” What, did parents want to discuss the Two-Deep coverage, or maybe they were looking for inside information on that “Wildcat” formation. On the contrary… In plain English, they were disgruntled parents. Aw yes, isn’t it so good to see that these young men are in college, and mommy & daddy are still questioning the coach. What is this pee-wee football here? All upset that big, ole bad Coach Nutt isn’t playing your boy…My heart pumps piss for you! Um, those parent-teacher conferences that you seemingly had to enjoy going to when your boys were younger…Um, yeah, see, colleges, well, they just don’t have that! Mommy & Daddy aren’t allowed to knock on the door of the athletic director like it’s the principal’s office. Houston Nutt doesn’t keep track of progress made by your boys either, like some third grade teacher would!
Did you guys ever think the reason your boys aren’t playing is due to the fact that they aren’t good enough? See, it’s that same old pee-wee football concept again! "It was agreed by all parties involved that the head coach has the valid right to determine the direction of the program and the manner in which the team would develop," Mitch Mustain’s mommy said. Thanks much for helping us understand that…Now there’s a concept! A head coach, “has the valid right to determine the direction of the program and the manner in which the team would develop.” What’s next, a baseball pitcher has a valid right to throw what he wants? What, the next time I move somewhere I’m going have to check-in with the local Chamber of Commerce to see if I have a valid right to decide to live in that particular area? Wow, I was completely unaware of this. I mean for the life of me I can’t figure out what Coach Nutt was doing to begin with? All the No. 12 Razorbacks did this season was rode the running of Heisman Trophy runner-up Darren McFadden and Felix Jones, another 1,000-yard rusher, to a surprising Southeastern Conference title game appearance this season. What the hell was Nutt thinking when he did that? (continued @ http://www.lastrowsports.com/weekly-boob.asp)
