I'm really surprised, even with the loss, that so many people have Texas behind Oklahoma. Oklahoma barely scraped by Alabama-Birgmingham in the first week, and struggled with Washington for two and a half quarters today.

I'm with you on that. OK keeps dropping a few spots on my list. What's even more surpising to me, though, are the two that refuse to rank OSU number 1. Especially when one of them posted in another articles that they KNOW Ohio State is the best team, but they won't admit it because they're a Michigan fan.

Yeah, I was a little surprised by that when I saw the AP poll yesterday. I think that there were 10 first place votes split between USC, Notre Dame and Auburn. I wouldn't say this very often, but for this week, I'm stunned that OSU wouldn't be a unanimous number one.

Alright...I move that Davis21Wylie not be allowed to vote. Seriously...Pitt at number 12, ahead of West Virginia, Louisville and Texas? Who are you kidding? Pitt just struggled against Cinicinnatti!

I'm curious why DNL, Pean, Roblefko, etc. aren't voting. Do you guys feel it's a conflict of interest or do you just prefer not to? It doesn't matter either way, I'm just curious.

i really dislike college football...my school didnt have a team, and i just can't get into it...come college hoops season, ill definitely participate

Went to a Div-III school, never really followed the game, and I'm a big NFL fan -- so I have to choose which weekend day to waste :) I may vote after week six though. Dunno yet.

this next saturday is going to be a great day of college football. we'll finally get to learn something about a lot of top ten teams: michigan/notre dame, lsu/auburn, usc/nebraska, florida/tennessee, louisville/miami, oklahoma/oregon.

I don't know about everyone else, but Nebraska is going to get WHIPPED. I think that we're going to see this week that the voters have had the wrong Big 12 North team in the top 25 all along. It should have been Missouri, not Nebraska.
