AGM News: Minor Leagues

We now have pages for Minor League Baseball, AAA Baseball, and AA Baseball. Baseball therefore no longer redirects to MLB, but is a disambiguation page.

The AA level is more complete. For those people who want to fill in their favorite league/division/team of minor league baseball, the Eastern League of AA Baseball, Eastern League North, and Portland Sea Dogs are good examples using the standard forms and templates used at the major-league level.

If you create a league, please look at Minor League Baseball and at least provide a redirect (#REDIRECT [PAGENAME]) to your new article, if you don't like the format of the names provided.

Together, hopefully we can fill these all in.

I noticed last night that there are a lot of American Association (1890s-era) baseballers on the site. I'd been adding them to MLB Players. Should that heep up?

Yep. Although it's important to remember the modern-day American Association bears no direct links to the 19th century league of the same name. Maybe a, with a note on the page that only players who never saw significant playing time in the majors should be added?

It would also be great for someone to come up with a template box for player profiles that shows what minor-league teams they played with, and to have categories of alumni of minor-lelague teams
