Saturday, 8 Jul 07, ESPN at 1500 EDT:
Colorado at San Jose, SJ by 14
This seems reasonable. The SaberCats have embarrassed just about everybody who's come into HP Pavilion this season, all but one game (vs Orlando) decided by at least 21 points.
Saturday, 8 Jul 07, ESPN at 2000 EDT:
Columbus at Dallas, Dallas by 12
And this one seems surprising. 12 is more than the combined point difference of the two regular season games. Dallas won by 2 in Dallas (after spotting Columbus a 30 point lead) and then won by 9 in Columbus.
Sunday, 9 Jul 07, ESPN2 at 1900 EDT:
Philadelphia at Georgia, Georgia by 8.5
This one seems a little close. Georgia was one of 3 teams to not lose at home this year (and score 1,000+ regular season points), and Philly barely finished at .500 on the road. The point differential at home was 1-2 for the first part of the season for Georgia, but as they pushed Dallas for best record, that widened to deep into the twenties. Philly is game, but not enough on the road to bother Georgia too much.
Monday, 10 Jul 07, ESPN2 at 2030 EDT:
Los Angeles at Chicago, Chicago by 10
LA spent the last 8 weeks of the season alternating wins and losses. After crushing Utah last weekend, here comes the 5th try in 9 weeks to put something positive together. Chicago has won for 4 of their last 5, with 2 20+ point home wins and a week's extra recovery time. That gave the nicked-up Bobby Sippio a chance to do some important healing, and 10 probably is a little low for the spread for this game.
