ACC Football, OUCH!!!

Wow, I hate to see the ACC get bad press, but a few stats in this article are very bad. 1-7 against the SEC. 1-8 in BCS games since 2000. 3-31 against the top 10 teams in 2000.

I hope the ACC can turn this around soon.

Indeed. More elaboration. Actually, the only elaboration you need is BC being in the title game and Matt Ryan winning Offensive Player of the Year.

The ACC can't turn it around anytime soon. They raided the Big East to try and make themselves matter in football and look where it got them. They're probably worse now than they were as a nine-team league, the Big East went 5-0 in bowls last year, and has two Top 10 programs in Lousiville and West Virginia. Outside of Virginia Tech (one of the teams the ACC robbed from the Big East), I really don't see any National TItle contenders in the ACC. The conference is exactly what it was before, a one-power assembly of teams.
