ACC's Wake Forest Basketball Coach Passes Away

Skip Prosser, head coach of Wake Forest's men's basketball coach, passed away today at the age of 56.  Apparent cause is a heart attack.  The hospital is withholding information pending notification of next of kin.

Mr. Prosser had coached a 126-68 ACC record and a 291-146 overall record with stints at Loyola (MD) and Xavier as well as Wake Forest.

Mr. Prosser worked with Operation Hardwood, traveling to Kuwait to work with our troops there, as well as other local charities.

He had the heart attack apparently after a jog. One could then safely assume jogging induces heart attacks. Thank god I don't do that crap.

I thought the same thing when I read he died jogging. Do you ever hear of a guy dying while sitting on his couch drinking a beer and smoking a cigarette?

What I find most upsetting is that his doctor told him that he needed to exercise more. If you are a doctor shouldn't you check for things like this before telling a person to exercise?
