Alex Rodriguez hit a walk-off two-run homerun off Jorge Sosa in the bottom of the 12th inning as the Yankees beat the struggling Atlanta Braves by a score of 4-3. The Braves took the lead in the top of the 12th with a solo shot from Marcus Giles, but they could not nail down the victory at Yankee Stadium.

The Yankees have the New York Mets coming in for a series on Friday.

To be fair, Yankees fans want this to happen in the postseason. Jeter, Bernie, Posada, ect did not earn the love of the Yanks fans hitting in big regular season spots. So, they are at least being consistent.
