According to ESPN, a 59 year old man named Mike Flynt has made the squad of a Division III college football team. Flynt's position on his team, Sul Ross State University in Texas, is undetermined. He was eligible because he still had one more year of eligibility due to him being kicked off of the very same team during his senior year. He will be the oldest ever person to be in a college football roster (what a shocker).
Personally, I think this is one great story. A senior citizen who hasn't played organized football in 37 years, goes back to his school and takes advantage of one more year in his school. It just goes to show you, that we shouldn't be making fun of Julio Franco.
