Matt Schaub is out of Michael Vick's shadow and now gets his shot to start. He takes over a Texans offense that has struggled the past few seasons. Schaub could help, though. When given the chance in the past, Schaub proved he could make plays. He is a big quarterback (6-5) with a strong arm and is a typical pocket passer. He could be a good fit for Gary Kubiak's ball control offense.
The Texans still need to shore up their offensive line, which is a big concern for Schaub. He could surprise, though, if the offensive line makes some strides. He might be worth a late-round pick as a backup. Schaub has some top NFL qualities.
