Chris Simms is currently listed as the starter for the Bucs, but Jeff Garcia was acquired during the offseason; as of June 8, head coach Jon Gruden says the 37-year-old "is clearly the leader in the clubhouse right now, and we are excited about that," according to the St. Petersburg Times. (See full story here: http://blogs.tampabay.com/bucs/). The Bucs also traded for Jake Plummer, who says he is retired. You don't need a swami to tell you that there is considerable confusion in the future for Tampa Bay's quarterback situation. Should Garcia be named the starter, he does offer more value than Simms, but certainly you can find a better backup fantasy QB on another team.
