Alex Smith started every game for the 49ers in 2006, taking every snap. He completed 257-of-442 passes (58.1 percent) for 2,890 yards with 16 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. He also rushed for 147 yards, two running TDs and five fumbles lost. He got help this offseason as the Niners added WRs Darrell Jackson and Ashley Lelie as well as rookie Jason Hill. Between the three of them and TE Vernon Davis, Smith finally has some options that make up for his mostly passive play. He's a solid No. 2 Fantasy QB with potential to move up to a low-end No. 1 role if he can string together some 250-yard games.
