1. Brett Favre - From a poor couple of seasons to be one of the NFL's best once again in a one pronged Packer attack.
2. Jonny Wilkinson - Having played virtually no rugby since the 2003 Rugby World Cup, Wilkinson was instrumental in getting England back to the final in 2007.
3. John Higgins - After sliding down the rankings since his first World Snooker Championship in 1998, Higgins responded by winning the title for a second time in 2007.
4. Teemu Selanne - Found his best form since a rookie to help the Ducks to win the Stanley Cup.
5. Kimi Raikkonen - A move to Ferrari gave him his first chance to be F1 World Champion in four years - which he took.

1. Randy Moss - Hooked himself up to the ol' "Juvenation Machine" upon arriving in Foxboro.
2. Alex Rodriguez - Responded to down season with an MVP-caliber campaign.

4. Amare Stoudemire - Came back from microfracture surgery to once again claim his place as the NBA's best undersized center.
5. Dmitri Young - Da Meat Hook's career looked ovah after imploding in 2006, but he came back with a nice 2007 season in Washington.

1. Johnny Wilkinson - Put England on his back to get them to the 2007 World Cup Final
2. Teemu Selanne, Anaheim Ducks - Performed with class and talent while earning a Stanley Cup
3. Eddie Johnson, Kansas City Wizards - after a dreadful 2006 he scored a ton including back to back hat tricks.
4. Juan Pablo Angel, New York Red Bulls - after leaving Aston Villa he went on to have a stellar season for the Red Bulls.
5. Phil Kessel, Boston Bruins - overcame testicular cancer to become one of the new bright young stars in the NHL.

1. Jake Peavy - Not many remember his poor 2006 since he unanimously won the Cy Young in 2007.

3. Dmitri Young - Quite a year even with 40 pounds of hair on his head.
4. Josh Hamilton - Good to see a kid come back from a drug problem.
5. Rick Ankiel - Working your way to the majors is hard enough but doing it twice is amazing.
