2007 Baltimore Orioles
The Baltimore Orioles' 2007 season will involve the Orioles trying to improve on their 2006 season. They fired manager Sam Perlozzo on June 18th, replacing him by bullpen coach Dave Trembley as interim manager. Trembley was named full-time manager on August 22, 2007; later that same day the team suffered the worst defeat recorded in baseball since 1897, losing 30-3 to the Texas Rangers (ironically, the Orioles had a 3-0 lead early in that game).
