I like the picks. You did a fantastic job with this entire thing. But I do have one question to ask you, or anybody...How in the hell did Jake Delhomme become a great quarterback?

Haha, thanks. I like Delhomme. He's a lot like a poor man's Brett Favre, he'll hold the ball a long time, take wild chances to try and make something happen; sometimes it works great, and sometimes it blows up in his face. He doesn't have the crazy arm strength, but he's got the same leadership and attitude as #4. But the real answer to "How in the hell did Jake Delhomme become a great quarterback?" is this: there's something in the water in Amsterdam -- Delhomme was Kurt Warner's backup on the Admirals in '98. They grow some great stuff there... great quarterbacks, I mean!

Yes, great job. But I still don't understand how you have Minn winning out over Chicago.

Minnesota is a solid team. Where's the biggest hole, QB? Big deal. Brad Johnson is effective enough to not lose games -- that's what a QB needs to do.

I think Seattle's bitterness over getting cheated out of a championship (at least in their view and their fans) and they're experience from last year will take them over the Panters and to a SB win.

Remember now, the loser of the SB has struggled the next season every year. I think the last 3 teams have failed to make the playoffs.

Well in that case maybe no super bowl loser should ever play the next season. Oh wait, no, that doesn't make sense. :-)

So all but 2 teams that made the playoffs last year will make it again? Way to go out on a limb there...

Yeah, I know. It's all based on the power ratings, though. For the record, I don't think the Giants are as good as I've got them being, but I had to give Tiki Barber a 9 out of respect for last season. If he goes all Curtis Martin, though (and it's a real possibility), the Cowboys will make the playoffs.

None of this accounts for the realities of the NFL though. I guarantee that one or mroe of last years playoff teams will finish below .500. I guarantee that a premier QB will go down with injury at some point. It happens every single year.

Cicny is better than New England, Branch is holding and they don't have a RB. Yes they have Brady, but Cincy is better if Carson's knee is good to go.
