2006-2007 NHL Schedules to be Released Wednesday

For the nine or ten hockey fans out there...

The NHL is releasing official team schedules for the 2006-2007 season tomorrow, which is Wednesday, July 12. The schedule's will be available at NHL.com, or at each team's respective site.

Or, if the NHLmedia.com people approve my application for press credentials, it might be up on ArmChairGM as soon as it's released. If I'm not approved, I'll try to get the schedule up as soon as possible. Madproof9 17:08, 11 July 2006 (EST)

I wonder if the Philadelphia Flyers will have another double digit road trip this season. At the end of that historic road trip last year, the Flyers had the most points in the NHL. Thereafter, the Flyers slumped...badly.

As much as I enjoy rivalry games, I still think that the NHL should strongly consider having at least one game against each team from the opposite conference every season and host their inter-conference opponent every other year. For example, I'd want to see the New York Rangers host the Phoenix Coyotes next season, the 2008-2009 season and so forth... Another thing, spread the rivalry games out during the season please! Not bunched up in a single month.
