The 2004 Seattle Mariners finished with a record of 63-99. They scored 698 runs and belted 136 home runs to go along with a .270 batting average. The offense was powered by Bret Boone, who led the team with 24 home runs and 83 RBI. Ichiro Suzuki led the team with 262 hits for a .372 average. Ichiro Suzuki had a great year on the basepaths with 36 stolen bases.

The team allowed 823 runs and had a team ERA of 4.76. Ron Villone was the winningest pitcher, with 8 games won. Jamie Moyer struck out 125 batters to lead the team. Eddie Guardado led the team with 18 saves.
