The 2004 Minnesota Twins finished with a record of 92-70. They scored 780 runs and belted 191 home runs to go along with a .266 batting average. Corey Koskie led the team in home runs with 25. Torii Hunter knocked in 81 runs. Lew Ford led the team with 170 hits for a .299 average.

The team allowed 715 runs and had a team ERA of 4.04. Johan Santana led the pitching staff with 20 wins and 265 strikeouts. Joe Nathan was the team's best fireman, with 44 saves.
