The 2004 Houston Astros finished with a record of 92-70. They scored 803 runs and belted 187 home runs to go along with a .267 batting average. Lance Berkman led the team in home runs with 30. Jeff Kent was the best run producer with 107 RBI. Craig Biggio led the team with 178 hits for a .281 average.

The team allowed 698 runs and had a team ERA of 4.05. Roy Oswalt led the team with 20 wins. Roger Clemens racked up 218 strkeouts to lead the team. Brad Lidge was the team's best fireman, with 29 saves.
