The 2004 Florida Marlins finished with a record of 83-79. They scored 718 runs and belted 148 home runs to go along with a .264 batting average. The offense was powered by Miguel Cabrera, who led the team with 33 home runs and 112 RBI. Juan Pierre led the team with 221 hits for a .326 average. Juan Pierre had a great year on the basepaths with 45 stolen bases.

The team allowed 700 runs and had a team ERA of 4.10. Carl Pavano was the winningest pitcher, with 18 games won. Josh Beckett led the team with 152 strikeouts. Armando Benitez led the team with 47 saves.
