The 2001 Seattle Mariners finished with a record of 116-46. They scored 927 runs and belted 169 home runs to go along with a .288 batting average. The offense was powered by Bret Boone, who led the team with 37 home runs and 141 RBI. Ichiro Suzuki led the team with 242 hits for a .350 average. Ichiro Suzuki had a great year on the basepaths with 56 stolen bases.

The team allowed 627 runs and had a team ERA of 3.54. Leading the team in wins was Jamie Moyer, with 20. Freddy Garcia racked up 163 strkeouts to lead the team. Kazuhiro Sasaki was the team's best fireman, with 45 saves.
